Background

  • Degree in architecture while minoring in fine arts at the American University of Beirut in 2010.

  • Internships within architecture and design studios in Beirut (Yousef Haidar), New York (Left Architects) and Barcelona (BAD).

  • Working for Zaha Hadid in London for the period 2011 to 2016.

  • Provided objective consultancy work on various private equity real estate investments: shopping centre in Glasgow, residential tower and a development project in London. 

- Algiers Presidential Palace: In charge of execution drawings of one wing, lighting design concept, and of client comments (understanding the client’s requests and assuring we have answered them).

- Monaco facade lifting renovation (private competition) in charge of a small team and putting together client presentations and strategies.

- Serpentine Pavilion: turning the pavilion space into a functional restaurant. Design of kitchen, bar, layout, materials and loose furniture selection.

- Participated as a designer on various competitions: NY Tower, Yacht club Qatar.

- Urban planning/massing of Taiwan Island Dubai (program: private residences, hotel and members club).

- Vortex jewelery collection: design and execution (experimenting in 3D printed gold).

- Furniture design for Zaha’s various flats.
